Evans Consoles is Pleased to Announce that its Furniture Solutions Have Received the GREENGUARD Certification for Indoor Air Quality
Evans Consoles has had its products Greenguard Certified by having them tested for chemical emissions, ensuring they don't have a negative effect on indoor air quality.

CALGARY, AB, May 20, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In order to obtain GREENGUARD Certification, all Evans products were tested in a process known as small chamber testing, in which furniture and individual furniture components are placed in a sealed chamber and tested for chemical emissions. GREENGUARD Certified products have been identified to emit only a small amount of chemicals and as such are generally recognized to be safer products than those that have not been tested.

By adding GREENGUARD Certification to its products, Evans Consoles now offers its clients an ergonomically correct solution that is custom designed to meet the specific tasks of each of their operators, while emitting as few chemicals as feasible. This results in a work environment in which operators can focus on the task at hand without worrying about anything else.

"This certification is one more step in our ongoing efforts to be an environmentally responsible organization," says Greg Smith, CEO. "Our certification is also a great asset for those clients wishing to pursue LEED Certification for their control room projects, which is something we are seeing a lot more of these days."
