/Global Warming News Articles/ - Swan Lake, NY, August 15, 2008, Gerard James Aitken IV, President of Aitken International, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Executive of the Year in Alternative Energy. While inclusion in Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named the Cambridge Who's Who Executive of the Year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership, and service.
Mr. Aitken has more than 16 years of professional experience in energy services. He specializes in conducting research, developing alternative energy products, coordinating fundraising programs to complete prototypes, and overseeing research teams. He became involved in his profession because he was inspired by his father, Gerard J. Aitken III and Dr. Alvin M. Marks and attributes his success to his dedication and love for his profession. Mr. Aitken considers developing alternative energy prototypes to reduce global warming and our dependency on fossil fuels to be the most rewarding aspect of his career.
Mr. Aitken is currently developing thin-film photo voltaic cells (Lumeloid TM) and a high-density quantum battery (Quensor TM) and has written various articles about his work. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Development from The Pennsylvania State University and is a supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
