Airstreams Training Services, LLC contracts with Granite Services Inc for Wind Turbine Technical Training
Airstreams Training Services, LLC will provide wind turbine technical training to the Wind Division of Granite Services Inc. Granite Services Inc. is one of the largest service providers within the wind industry.


    /Global Warming News Articles/ - May 30, 2008 - According to a new U.S. Department of Energy (US DoE) report, one of the challenges in reaching 20% renewable energy in the US will be the demand for skilled wind professionals. The American Wind Energy Association reported that the US market wind capacity expanded by approximately 45% or 5200MW in 2007. This type of growth helped to expand the industry's workforce by nearly 900 service technicians. To help meet the US DoE's goal of 20% renewable by the year 2030, the wind industry will need to provide close to 5000 technicians per year in the coming years.
