Green Horizons Conservation Group Launches Unique Educational Program for Children
The Green Horizons Conservation Group has initiated an unique educational program for school age children to assist them in their understanding of global warming, climate changes and their affect on the environment.
/Global Warming News Articles/ - November 05, 2007 - The Green Horizons Conservation Group has developed an interactive educational program for school age children to educate them in the affects of climate change on the environment, how those changes affect their lives and hands-on interactive activities they can use to lessen those effects.
The Green Horizons' "Kidz Club" is an interactive educational program that provides its members with monthly electronic newsletters, instructions on developing and organizing local environmentally conscious groups, unbiased news and information on climate change and its effects, information on recycling, carbon footprints and the role carbon credits play in reducing the effects of global warming.
The Green Horizons' "Kidz Club" has been developed to assist elementary and middle school educators, home schoolers and community youth group leaders in developing socially and environmentally conscious community leaders among their youth. The "Kidz Club" provides educators and youth leaders with unbiased structured information that can be used for interactive educational, science, environmental and social projects.
